Late to the world of blogging...What else is new?

Welcome to my blog. Given what I do for a living, to say I'm a bit late in embracing this form of communication would be a bit of an understatement. For those who know me, this probably comes as no surprise. Better late than never, right?

So why do this now? I wish I could say that I had some sort of inspiration or epiphany that drew me to do this...but that isn't really the case. Plain and simple--I like to write and on occasion I get the urge to be creative. Plus I have no shortage of opinions on the state of affairs of the world we live in.

The beauty of this blogging deal is that I can pretty much say whatever I want and you can choose to read or ignore, agree or disagree with whatever I have to say.

So let the fun begin.
